WHY ARE YOU ALIVE? Uncle Ebo Writers

WHY ARE YOU ALIVE?⁣

One day, on my usual early morning walks, I came across a little boy of about 3 or 4 years. He was standing by the roadside, crying. It was obvious he had been crying for a while because typical of some children, there was phlegm all over his nose. He was standing all alone and crying.⁣

I figured that he might have followed someone out and/or expecting to see the person. I walked on without asking him a question.⁣

Some metres down the road, I saw a young lady carrying a pan and was seemingly returning from selling ‘koko’ (porridge). She looked forlon, and I wondered why. It was obvious she had sold all the porridge, so why was she looking downcast? I asked myself.⁣

As I was about to walk past her, she broke into a beautiful smile and opened her arms for an embrace. Her whole nature transformed and became lighter. My gaze followed her in the direction of her smile. I saw the little boy ran into her arms and they turned and continued moving. The child, now happy, hopped alongside the young lady (who I assumed was his mother).⁣

This woman, prior to seeing her son might have been burdened by issues. But then she sees her son, and is reminded of why she wakes up every morning to sell.⁣

She is reminded of the reason for her life. ⁣

That tender moment made me realize one of the most powerful lessons in life:⁣

“If you live only for yourself, you will be depressed, even if you have a million dollars”⁣

If your whole life was only about you, will be a depressed person. Our lives matter only when we are living for something or someone. The easiest one is to live for family and spouses. But that is elementary, and a starting point. Your life must be bigger than that. You must live for the sake of those who need you but are not part of your family. You must live for a cause that will impact society. ⁣

That will energize you, because you are not living a selfish life. ⁣

If you are living a selfish life, you will be depressed even if all your prayers for money are answered. ⁣

Who/What are you living for?⁣
Whose life are you impacting?⁣
Which cause benefits from your existence?⁣
Who/What keeps you going?⁣

Armed robbers allegedly attack University of Cape Coast

Armed robbers allegedly attack University of Cape CoastStudents of the University of Cape Coast have taken to social media to demand for improved security on campus after the institution was allegedly attacked by armed robbers.

Pictures and videos in circulation on social media show disturbing scenes of students running to seek cover from the attack by the robbers.

The tweeps also put out SOS numbers for students who had gone into hiding due to the attacks to get help from the police.

Trending on Twitter this morning is the hashtag #UCCLivesMatter which shows posts by students of the university registering their displeasure over what they contend to be lax security on campus.

The latest attack, follows periodic reports of robberies on campus, mostly at knifepoint.

It also sheds further light on the security situation in the Central Region after an MP was recently murdered by suspected armed robbers.

Ekow Quansah Hayford, the MP for Manfatseman Mfantseman was killed by the robbers when he was returning from campaign in the constituency.

His death adds to a number of killings in the area which has prompted the Omanhen of the Mankessim Traditional area to appeal to the government for improved security in the area.

Nana Araba Otua expressed concerns that indigenes of the area keep dying with government not proffering any tangible solution to the issues.

“These criminals must be found. The killings must stop. Sadly, the people responsible for these killings are still at large. The decent people of Mfantsiman cannot and should not live in fear”, she is quoted TheGhanaReport.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has also charged the police to find the culprits behind the MP’s murder.

“I have made it known to the IGP that if nothing is done about this particular matter, what will happen will happen,” President Akufo-Addo declared when he visited the bereaved family at their Mankessim residence in the Central Region”, he said.

Nana Kyerematen Writes:Amplified Concert Review

Undoubtedly Kingzkid when we are pointing people who have fought for Urban Gospel and have raised the flag we can’t side line you. Your efforts are paying and will pay till it’s time for it to stop.

I was really excited to see you have your own virtual concert in this pandemic. It was a way of getting to your fans after a while. For me I felt you did it because your other bigger artist in other aspects did it so you did.
I am also convinced that you planned to make it a YouTube show because you needed more Subscribers. Now let’s get a quick review of the concert.

Artiste:
You had a great selection of musicians lined up from Edem Evangelist to the hottest Urban Gospel Artist at the moment Kobby Salm. You did one of the hardest and greatest selection.

Read:https://ghanaaview.com/one-of-the-worthest-person-living-on-this-planet-3/

Show Setting:
Audience that streamed will completely agree with me that the organisation of the show was very poor and needed a closer look because it wasn’t in order.
We were promised 8pm but the show started 9:42pm,we were assured that we will watch via YouTube but the YouTube stream lasted 36 seconds and was moved to Instagram.

You went to the highest extent of even given us rules for your concert but yet still you didn’t meet up. In this case as a fan and pundit I see it as something that was looking for news and hype to wing on.
If you wanted to go the CEEK way like Sarkodie did you should have had proper planning but you moved on.

Impact Of The Show:
For me it’s an absolute No! There was zero impact made from the part of artist and many more. There were technical hitches that prevented us from getting the real feel of what we expected. This is were I prompt you not to give rules to a concert you haven’t determined.

In all I wish you the best. You have done well for Urban Gospel but don’t get swollen headed when we call you our King Sark, there’s lotta work ahead of you and we know you can do well.

I will personally big up your management team for being a bit brave to do this.

PASTORS, INSTRUMENTALISTS AND THE CHURCH ARE BLEEDING DUE THE LOW NEGLIGENCE OF HOW THEY’RE BEING TAKEN CARE OF! Emmanuel Daniels

Soo numerous vehicles are stalled due to absence of legitimate support. Regardless of how effective a vehicle is if the proprietor doesn’t have appropriate support culture it won’t be long the vehicle will breakdown.

The same way a vehicle needs appropriate upkeep to be effective and remain longer I accept that partner pastors, instrumentalists and some central members in our services and temples needs legitimate support else they will breakdown…. For my couple of long periods of 18years in full time service I have seen that the congregation has helpless upkeep culture with regards to chapel laborers yet initiative think that its hard to acknowledge the breakdown and in capacity to effective.

I need to state it hear and now without dread and favor that Senior Pastors,Founders of houses of worship and Pastors should wake up to the physical needs of their subordinates and workers, this I trust it’s essential for Godliness, there is a distinction between natural pay and brilliant prize.

Try not to lecture brilliant prize and scrap natural compensation it is an affront to the individuals who have given their everything to follow you and bite the dust for your service and all the more so it is against sacred writing.

Trump camp still pushing for in-person Miami debate with Biden amid turmoil over schedule

President Trump’s campaign is still pushing for an in-person debate to take place in Miami next week even though plans for the remaining showdowns with Joe Biden have unraveled over the last day.

Read:https://ghanaaview.com/trump-mounts-bizarre-and-misleading-white-house-return-despite-warnings/

Two more debates, scheduled for Oct. 15 and 22, have long been on the books. But those plans were thrown into doubt Thursday after the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), in the wake of Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis, released a statement saying “the second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the candidates would participate from separate remote locations.”

Shortly after that announcement, Trump said he would not participate in a virtual format, calling it “ridiculous.” Biden on Thursday moved on, agreeing to attend a different event that night hosted by a television network.

By Thursday night, Trump’s campaign manager, Bill Stepien, who also recently tested positive for coronavirus, called for an in-person debate to still take place on Oct. 15. He cited a new memo from Trump’s doctor saying it is safe for him to return to public engagements this weekend.

“President Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, says the president will be medically cleared for ‘safe return to public engagements’ by Saturday, five full days before the originally scheduled debate in Miami on October 15. There is therefore no medical reason why the Commission on Presidential Debates should shift the debate to a virtual setting, postpone it, or otherwise alter it in any way,” Stepien said.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany also hit back at the commission, pointing to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance that persons with mild to moderate COVID-19 remain infectious for no longer than 10 days.

“The Commission on Presidential Debates claims to follow science,” McEnany said. “Well, they don’t. They follow it when convenient for Biden.

The drama over the next debate continued into Friday after C-SPAN released a statement saying host Steve Scully believes his Twitter account was hacked in the aftermath of a tweet sent from his account to former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci that raised questions of impartiality.

Scully “did not originate the tweet,” C-SPAN claimed in a statement, adding that the Commission on Presidential Debates was investigating the incident “with the help of authorities,” who were unidentified. Scully himself did not immediately comment.

Scully had been selected to host the second presidential debate, although the status of all future 2020 debates has been unclear.

The now-deleted tweet, sent Thursday night, read: “@Scaramucci should I respond to trump.”

Frank Fahrenkopf, a co-chairman of the commission, first made the hacking claim to Fox News Radio’s “The Brian Kilmeade Show” Friday morning.

“Steve is a man of great integrity, okay?” Fahrenkopf said. “I don’t know this question about whether he tweeted something out or not, I do know, and you’ll probably pick up on it in a minute, that he was hacked. … Apparently, there’s something now that’s been on television and the radio saying that he talked to Scaramucci. … He was hacked. It didn’t happen.”

Ladies, here are 5 common things Ghanaian men lie about

The topic of trust is an important factor in all matters of the heart.
Men lie to women. Women lie to men. And most people agree that some lying is even necessary – to avoid petty squabbles and to grease the wheels of a relationship.

Men lie to build themselves up or to conceal something. According to experts, men are more likely to lie to enhance themselves than women are.

Read:https://ghanaaview.com/watch-video-senior-citizen-drops-atopa-dance-moves/

But consistent lying on even minor matters can unglue a marriage. Trust me, when you are being dishonest with someone, then you are essentially denying that person the privilege of the truth. Whether it’s an effort to spare another person’s feelings or protecting yourself, lies are lies and must not be encouraged.

Women, here are some common things Ghanaian men lie about.

Their sexual performance

Most men struggle with erectile dysfunction, but many of them don’t want to admit it. This is one reason why they like to take aphrodisiac drugs just because they want to “give good sex.” This shouldn’t be the case though. If you have a problem, consult a doctor for treatment.

Their fantasies

Everyone fantasizes about someone or something. But Ghanaian men never want to layout or speak about their fantasies. Usually, they think they become vulnerable or better still, they keep them so that they don’t hurt their partners. But it is okay to fantasise about someone or something. That is a natural feeling.

Past relationships

Men usually lie about cheating in previous relationships. They do this most of the times because they didn’t want to scare off a potential new love. Unfortunately, that’s the kind of lie that can erode trust from the very beginning, and ultimately doom a relationship.

The fact that they need you

One of the most destructive lies that men tell to themselves and others is that they can go it alone.

This is the most ludicrous lie of them all because we all need somebody. We’re social creatures that crave connection above almost everything else.

Their income

Most Ghanaian men lie about their income. They either tell you the less income they receive (i.e. if they want to avoid spending more on you) or tell you they receive much more than they actually get (i.e. if they want to impress you). But if financial lies continue into a relationship, they can seriously undermine trust and cause long-term problems.

Afia Schwarzenegger Throws Shades: “Rich People Don’t Fight, They Concentrate On Their Investment And Enjoy Their Wealth”

Afia Schwarzenegger is with the real papa no

The fierce feud between celebrities on social media have left many of them throwing jabs and shades every day in their posts via their handles and loud mouth media personality Afia Schwarzenegger seems to be doing exactly same after Mzbel dared her with her “Fi” response in their recent ‘beef’.

After Mzbel and Tornado took her to the gutters by exposing her sapphism acts with chop bar waitresses and also alleging that she doesn’t even cater for his biological father who is based in Kumasi, Afia has since been making slight innuendoes with photos of his father on his IG page.

Among the many posts that she flooded her post with, one post that really caught our attention is the one that seems like a response to those that wish she could continue her feud with Mzbel and Tornado. In this post she said: “My dad Mr Agyei just said and I quote ‘Rich people don’t fight ,they concentrate on their investment and enjoy their wealth”.

But before that she first she posted: “Take good care of your parents n God in heaven will bless you!!!! My daddy my photocopy.

I remember the morning we were wheeling you to the theater… it was raining heavily at korle bu n I was tearing.. you held my hand n prayed for us..you asked God to reward me for every coin I have spent. We are grateful to God for having you here n oh all the jokes you tell ..We are grateful to the drs n Nurses of Korle bu teaching hospital for everything you did for daddy. Happy anniversary, Happy recoversary…still surprising medicine!!!!”

“To my everything and more Fadda Dickson, thank you so very much. To everybody that prayed with us, we say thank you…To the people that kept checking on me becos i was in my lowest mood..thank you” she said in another post.

That wasn’t the last with a photo of herself and the father, she further shared this: “Allow me flood your TL with my 83 years dad whom we nearly lost to prostate cancer…And I will use the medium to advise all men to check your prostate Regularly..Just like cervical cancer you might not experience any symptoms till it gets cancerous. Meet my miracle. And oh we are always laughing cos my father is got a great sense of humor.
Yes he survived Cancer…He is a miracle..He is a great man”.

Afia trying to prove Mr. Agyei is her real dad and that she takes very good care of him, posted: “If you think say I be guy…wait…Meet the 83 years old man that wears Versace to funeral, My father Agya Kwadwo Agyei”.
