NDC won’t accept results of ‘flawed’ elections – Mahama

Previous President John Mahama has cautioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) won’t acknowledge the consequences of imperfect races.

Talking at the 28th-commemoration celebration of the NDC in Accra, Mr. Mahama, who is the gathering’s flagbearer for the forthcoming surveys advised the discretionary commission against acts that could disappoint Ghanaians in the surveys.

“Let nobody feel that the NDC will acknowledge the result of a defective political race… Let no one endeavor to disappoint any of our residents based on ethnicity,” Mahama said.

The NDC is in court with the constituent commission over the EC’s emphasis on accumulating another register for the December surveys. The gathering says another register will disappoint lion’s share of voters if the EC demands identification and Ghana card as principle evidence of nationality.

In the mean time, Parliament on Tuesday casted a ballot to support the disputable C.I 126 which gives legitimate sponsorship to the Electoral Commission to aggregate another voter’s register for the December surveys.

106 individuals from the Majority side of the House casted a ballot on the side of the C.I while 92 resistance MPs restricted it.
