Who is better between Messi and Ronaldo? Luis Figo ends the debate

“Who is the best between Messi and Ronaldo? Like many football players, Luis Figo did not escape this question. Asked by the media Goal on the eternal debate between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo a time ago, the former player of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid no less legend of the Portuguese selection gave an opinion that he is not the only one to share.

For him, in fact, we must stop comparing the two players and take advantage. He goes even further and declares that these comparisons between these two football monsters are heinous.“I don’t see one better than the other. The comparisons between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are odious and there is always someone who loses. I prefer to watch and enjoy his two players as the best of recent years ”,he had declared.

To compare them, he said, we would have to put them in the same and the same conditions.“It is impossible to compare them. You would have to put the two in the same team, in the same position on the pitch and at that point it would be possible to compare them. They will continue to be competitive against each other because they want to be better day after day and when someone is at your level you want to surpass them ”, he added.

Dr UN” Arrested In The Studios Of HelloFM (VIDEO)

Self-acclaimed Global Ambassador for the United Nations (UN), Kwame Fordjour, popularly known as ‘Dr. UN’ has been arrested.

He was arrested on the premises of Kumasi based Hello-FM by plain-clothed police personnel from Asokore-Mampong.
Last month, ‘Dr UN’ described as one of the greatest conmen in the annals of the country’s entertainment history, trended for all the wrong reasons.

A ‘diplomat’ and ‘global ambassador’ by self-description, with a doctorate degree that has its veracity as questionable as his personality, Fordjour accomplished a scam on a magnitude almost never experienced in the country.

Under the pretense of partnering with the United Nations and the respected legacy of the late Dr Kofi Annan, he contrived to organize an awards ceremony (succeeded quite brilliantly) and presented trophies and citations to over 20 accomplished Ghanaian personalities who he described as having achieved extraordinary feats in their endeavors.

He thus surpassed his own feat as one of the biggest frauds in the country’s history.
According to a report filed by PeaceFM’s correspondent and HelloFM’s General Manager, Samson K. Nyamekye, ‘Dr. UN’ has been on the radar of the security agencies for quite some time now, after a fake award ceremony he organized at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
He was arrested after it was reported that the award scheme held in 2018 was fake and subsequently tried by a Magistrate Court in Asokore-Mampong.
The court, presided over by Her Worship, Portia M.A. Salia, later granted him bail.

But after flouting his bail conditions, the court issued a warrant for his arrest.

In view of this when news went out that Kwame Fordjour was in the studios of Hello FM, the security agencies stormed the place and later whisked him away in an unmarked saloon car.

According to Samson Nyamkeye, ‘Dr UN’ has been remanded in police custody.

Mother of 3 Lunches Online Bootcamp Teaching Kid Addicted to Video Game How to Code

As information transforms into digital format, many businesses are turning towards technology. As this new economy develops, special skills like computer programming and coding are increasing in demand. CEO of CodeWithSharen, top computer programmer and a mother of three, Sharen Eddings, is ahead of the game by establishing a coding lesson specialized for the younger generation, but open for all.“Coding doesn’t only teach you about technicality, but also a lot of other skills such as critical thinking and problem solving,” Eddings stated. When the pandemic hits, Eddings was quick to act as she turns her coding class into a virtual lesson. She developed her own software to give her students the attention and engagement they need, regardless of the digital format. Her students consist of children from grade six and up. Her virtual class would start with an eight to ten-minute typing lesson, followed by an introductory video that walks them through the class schedule and lessons. The course would go on for an hour.

Coding began for Eddings when she was looking for a way to provide her kids with better healthcare and find herself a better career path. This motivation led to her initial contact with computer programming at a local library where she fell in love with it.

“I saw a lot of potential with the subject matter and decided to put what I learned into my resume. Two weeks later, I landed myself a job at a tech company, and it has changed my life ever since,” Eddings claimed, “I had better wages and opportunities and no longer saw the glass ceiling.” She then explained her experience working as a computer programmer as nothing short of remarkable, “Tech companies pay for their employees to think, they would even pay for you to continue your education,” she explained.

“I would brainstorm with my co-workers to solve a coding problem and talk to them about my family at the same time. Everyone knew about my sons and would even ask about them,” she stated, “In the tech world, you’re not merely an employee. You get to keep the role that you have outside of work as a mother, father, sister, or daughter,” she stated.

As a mother of three, Eddings feels the benefit of working in a tech company as they give her flexible working hours and the liberty to work at home. “Freedom” was the word she emphasized when asked to describe what success is as a coder, “If you can control your future in any shape or form, that’s a success. If you’re someone who is looking for a change in lifestyle, this is the job that you’re looking for,” she stated.

Her passion for computer programming pushes her to build her coding program. “I started small with just my son and his classmates four years ago,” Eddings explained, “Then, I started to volunteer in different schools, which soon turned into an after-school program.” Through the program, Eddings taught kids how to read, write, and develop code. “There was a lot of excitement for it! I started with fifteen students, which quickly became twenty-five as they kept on sneaking into my classroom,” she said excitedly, “At some point, I was trying to figure out how to multiply myself because the demand was becoming really high, and that’s when I came up with the virtual online lessons.”

With the pandemic setting in and the growing number of students, Eddings plans to take her virtual lesson to the next level as she seeks funding. “Seeking funding is pretty challenging,” Eddings admits. Even though the tech world appreciates her as a working mother, the investing firms? Not so much. According to a research study in 2019, there’s barely one percent of Black female founders in the tech industry who get approved for funding and grants. “Convincing parents to put their kids through a coding lesson can also be challenging at times. A lot of them think that their kids can’t handle it, which is not true at all,” Eddings argued, “In reality, kids are brilliant, plus, parents can also learn it too with their kids!”

Through Code With Sharen, kids won’t only learn how to code, but also how to expand their creativity. Eddings sets a time for her students to apply their skills into something fun and tangible. “That time is called Free Fridays, and during Free Fridays, students are encouraged to apply what they’ve learned during the week,” Eddings stated. She consistently shows her students the end product that they can work towards out of the knowledge they receive, which could be in the shape and form of web design or game development. “I remember having a student who was able to recreate the user-interface of a bridal website by the end of an after-school program!” Eddings proclaimed, “We want to teach children to become the producers of technology and not only consumers of technology

Hajia Samira Bawumia, the second lady of the Republic of Ghana on her tour in Eastern Region was at Afram Plains on Wednesday 14th October, 2020. In an attempt to justify the abysmal performance of the Akufo-Addo led administration she told the good people of Afram Plains that the reason Afram Plains isn’t developed is as a result of they voting for NDC since 1992.

She was hooted by the people for peddling such falsehood, the residents rather referred her to similar statement made by her husband in the round up to the 2016 elections when her husband now the Vice President came to Ekye Amanfrom in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District.

“This time we are looking even bigger, we are thinking of a big investment in Afram Plains to transform the area and make it a true bread basket of the country. This new programme, God willing under the next NPP administration will see more investments in infrastructure like roads and agricultural inputs for the Afram Plains to support large scale farming as well as social infrastructure like schools, medical facilities, electricity, portable drinking water etc. to make the hardworking populace here comfortable. “We will make Afram Plains the bread basket of Ghana and West Africa. We will construct a modern bridge so as to help you in transporting your farm produce to Accra and the major cities in Ghana.

It will take thinking, investment and commitment and we are prepared and we have the capacity” the above being the words of Dr. Bawumia in 2015.

Hajia Samira Bawumia was further embarrassed when the Chief Imam made it known that all roads started by the erstwhile Mahama administration have been halted and are in bad state and must be given some attention if the NPP want the best for the people Afram Plains.

WHY ARE YOU ALIVE? Uncle Ebo Writers

WHY ARE YOU ALIVE?⁣

One day, on my usual early morning walks, I came across a little boy of about 3 or 4 years. He was standing by the roadside, crying. It was obvious he had been crying for a while because typical of some children, there was phlegm all over his nose. He was standing all alone and crying.⁣

I figured that he might have followed someone out and/or expecting to see the person. I walked on without asking him a question.⁣

Some metres down the road, I saw a young lady carrying a pan and was seemingly returning from selling ‘koko’ (porridge). She looked forlon, and I wondered why. It was obvious she had sold all the porridge, so why was she looking downcast? I asked myself.⁣

As I was about to walk past her, she broke into a beautiful smile and opened her arms for an embrace. Her whole nature transformed and became lighter. My gaze followed her in the direction of her smile. I saw the little boy ran into her arms and they turned and continued moving. The child, now happy, hopped alongside the young lady (who I assumed was his mother).⁣

This woman, prior to seeing her son might have been burdened by issues. But then she sees her son, and is reminded of why she wakes up every morning to sell.⁣

She is reminded of the reason for her life. ⁣

That tender moment made me realize one of the most powerful lessons in life:⁣

“If you live only for yourself, you will be depressed, even if you have a million dollars”⁣

If your whole life was only about you, will be a depressed person. Our lives matter only when we are living for something or someone. The easiest one is to live for family and spouses. But that is elementary, and a starting point. Your life must be bigger than that. You must live for the sake of those who need you but are not part of your family. You must live for a cause that will impact society. ⁣

That will energize you, because you are not living a selfish life. ⁣

If you are living a selfish life, you will be depressed even if all your prayers for money are answered. ⁣

Who/What are you living for?⁣
Whose life are you impacting?⁣
Which cause benefits from your existence?⁣
Who/What keeps you going?⁣

Prez Nana Addo winning by 60%

The First National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Frederick Fredua Antoh, popularly called FF Antoh, says President Akufo-Addo will win the December polls with 60 per cent of votes.

According to him, Ghanaians are overwhelmed with the performance of the NPP administration and will therefore renew its mandate in the upcoming polls.

Speaking in an interview, the former Ashanti regional chair of the governing party said the party will also win at least 45 out of the 47 parliamentary seats in the region.

“Everywhere you go everyone is talking about free SHS, Akufo-Addo is fulfilling the works of God. With God on our side, we will see what happens. President Mahama is going to leave politics after this election. I have been to everywhere in the Ashanti region and I’m telling you that Akufo-Addo is winning. In 2012 he had  47% of the votes, in 2016 he had 53 percent so you will see what will happen this time around. We are going to win massively in this election. I am predicting about 60% for Akufo-Addo,” he said.

He added: “I am hoping we get at least 45 of the seats in the Ashanti Region and 80% presidential votes. I don’t want to build castles in the air this realistic figures I’m giving you. I’m so sure of these numbers, there are some seats that we can target but there are some I’m so sure we are taking this time around”.

Ghana goes to the polls on December 7 to elect a president and parliamentarians. President Akufo-Addo and former President John Mahama are facing off for the third time for the presidential slot after each winning against the other previously.

The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama said the next NDC government will streamline the fishing sector to benefit fishermen and other stakeholders in the industry.

Addressing fishermen at Gomoa Nyanyanor in the Gomoa East constituency on the first day of his five-day tour of the Central Region, he observed that fishing inputs, including the distribution of fishing nets and premix fuel, have been hijacked by supporters of the ruling party following the government’s politicisation of the sector.

He said in order to help promote the growth of the fisheries sector, the next NDC government will ensure that fishermen take charge of the distribution of premix fuel by forming landing beach committees.

Mr Mahama said, “fishing nets and outboard motors will also be supplied to fishermen at a very affordable price”.

He also said the next NDC government will establish a salt factory at Gomoa Nyanyanor to create jobs for the unemployed youth in the area.

Mr Mahama also mentioned that the abandoned road network in the constituency will be constructed by the next NDC government.

He therefore urged electorates to vote for him and NDC parliamentary candidates in the December 7 general elections to enable him roll out Free Primary Healthcare for all, provide jobs as well as state-sponsored National Apprenticeship Programme, among others.
